Sharing Personal Journeys: From Suspecting ADHD to Seeking Assessment
Hey everyone, I've been struggling with concentration and staying organized for a while now. I’ve always wondered if I might have ADHD, but I’ve never had an official diagnosis. Lately, I’ve been noticing more and more signs that I might have it, like constantly losing track of time and feeling overwhelmed by tasks. Has anyone here gone through the process of seeking an ADHD assessment? What was your experience like? I’m unsure whether I should go for a private assessment or wait for the NHS option.

I can see why you’re feeling torn between private and NHS options. From what I’ve heard, private assessments do tend to be quicker, but the cost can be a concern. On the other hand, the NHS route can take a lot longer, and the process might feel a bit more impersonal. If you do decide to go private, I’ve heard that places like the one mentioned above offer good support throughout the assessment and follow-up process. It might be a good option if you're looking for a more personalized experience.
